We have had a great National Chemistry Week thus far🧪! On Monday, we heard from @ldjesus_ 👨‍🏫🔬 about his background and research. Last night, some of our @UBChemistry graduate students👨‍🔬👩‍🔬👨‍🔬 shared their research, followed by a panel discussion about grad school. More to come!🤩

UBChemClub wrapped up our final volunteer outing of the semester with ☀️“Y on the Fly”☀️ last weekend! Everyone had fun with slime making🧪, pretzel and marshmallow molecules, and hydrogen peroxide volcanos🌋!

A great opportunity for some undergraduate chemistry lovers!🧪

Our Jeopardy categories were: name that molecule, general chemistry, the elements, physical chemistry, UB faculty, and random. Our Jeopardy featured faculty were @ldejesus_ , @heppnerd, @YCL_Lab, Janet Morrow, and @LuisColonLab!

Another great UBChemClub meeting! We competed in chemistry themed 🤩Jeopardy🤩, ate plenty of snacks, and made 🌋papier-mâché volcanos🌋 for this weekend’s volunteer outing. 👨‍🔬Thank you for coming👩‍🔬, and congrats to our Jeapordy 🏆winners🏆 (pic 2)!
