"Language & Speech are issues of Public Health" Pauline Frizelle, Professor @UCC_CT & overall lead on the Happy Talk Project. Thanks Pauline & Aoife O Shea (HT Coordinator) again for presenting this initiative which looks at the role of SLT from a public health lens.

Our first OTea takes place today @ 2:30pm! Our 3rd year OT committee members will be sharing placement tips and resources! It's a great opportunity to talk with students who've worked in similar settings/client groups! Open to all OT students! Remember - bring your own mug!💕

Happy St Patrick's weekend from our @AphasiaHomeCafe ☘️Our members said that #aphasia cafés are safe spaces where everyone understands what it's like to live with aphasia. We also spoke about the importance of including people with aphasia as experts in research.

We welcomed new people at our @AphasiaHomeCafe today! We had fun discussing the upcoming hurling final this Sunday! A lot of Cork supporters present but some Limerick ones too! We also discussed the use of #JAM cards and raising awareness of #aphasia.
