We’re very excited to announce another event this year: A zoom talk with Dr Cathal O’Leary about the journey to becoming a vascular and interventional radiologist. The talk will be held at 7pm Irish Standard Time via zoom and is open to anyone! Sign up form in comments!

About Dr Cathal O’Leary: He completed medical school at UCD and internship at the Mater Hospital in Dublin. He completed an integrated IR-DR residency in the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania and is currently working at the University Health Network in Toronto, Canada.

We wanted to extend a huge thank you to Professor James Jones and everyone who attended our recent ultrasound workshop on vascular access sites in IR procedures. We’ll be having another event very soon, so keep your eye out for that announcement!

Happy New Year everyone! We hope you had an amazing break. We’re looking forward to this upcoming semester and have some great interventional radiology events planned. Stay tuned as our first event will be posted VERY soon!

Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraiser for Road2IR! We are so glad to support their mission to bring minimally invasive image-guided procedures to resource-limited settings worldwide.

With that being said, we will have this year’s bake sale on October 19th from 11-3pm in UCD Health Sciences Lobby. If you would like to bake, a volunteer link is in our bio! Additionally, we have a donation link in our bio if you cannot make it, but want to support still!

Throwback to last year’s bake sale in aid of ROAD2IR. It was such a success and we cannot wait to do it again this year!

We are proud to announce that we will again be supporting ROAD2IR, an international non-profit organization devoted to make interventional radiology procedures available worldwide. We’ll be hosting plenty of fundraising events, so keep an eye out for future posts for those!
