@soniajohnson @UCL_crisiscare @UniOslo Interesting! A conversation with a German psychiatrist highlighted similar disparities - their teams were often focused on supporting people who experience frequent crises, such as those with a diagnosis of PD - rather than psychosis or gatekeeping hospital

Our Impact Survey results show 60% of respondents found it harder to access a GP or psychiatrist post #COVID19; with nearly half (48%) saying it was harder to reach a Crisis Team for urgent help. The preliminary results are now available on our website. bipolaruk.org/blog/covid-19-…

Just published - our @TheLancetPsych @MentalHealthPRU sys review & meta on factors associated with involuntary hospitalisation. We found psychosis diagnosis and previous involuntary admission to have strongest associations with involuntary rather than voluntary admissions
