Two weeks ago I was honored to receive the Paul and Barbara Insel Endowed Award on Behalf of a Medical Scientist Training Program Graduate from @ucsd_mstp, presented by our amazing (but twitterless) program directors Paul Insel and Neil Chi.

Excited to see this work by @EvanMakes #AiDALab online @RadiologyCTI. Since we started applying this algorithm daily at @UCSDHealth, its striking how reliable it has been for detecting wall motion abnormalities and myocardial dyssynchrony. pubs.rsna.org/doi/10.1148/ry…
Today we report in @CellCellPress, a study led by the labs of Donald Kohn (@kohnlab) and Gay Crooks in collaboration with @davidrliu's team, in which we utilized adenine base editing to correct the mutation that causes CD3 delta severe combined immunodeficiency in HSPCs (1/8)
