Fun day at the beach! Our endocrine fellows enjoyed a nice morning getting breakfast and walking along the SF coast.

Our new fellows have finished orientation and are starting this week. Welcome Clarence, Nirmita, Yu Na, and Molly! We are excited to work with you.

We escaped! Our endocrine fellows put their deductive reasoning skills to the test with a special ops mystery escape room. Successfully completed the mission with 13 minutes to spare! ✨

For Endo grand rounds, Dr. Kaia Schwarz (@kmschwartz ) presented some fascinating cases of complete androgen insensitivity syndrome (CAIS). Pearls: 1. Dual treatment with estrogen AND testosterone has benefits. 2. Gonadectomy not as certainly beneficial as previously thought.
