But of course, the fight is not over. The other demands laid out in SWAY’s petition, like HR representation, paid sick leave, and recognition of our union have not been met. Further, it’s not clear how this raise will be implemented and if it will apply to certain positions.

Every @universityofky arts & sciences grad student just received this email. Since they don’t provide us dental insurance, they recommend these community resources that serve people living below the poverty line. The university’s endowment is $1.98 billion.
