Gonzalez says working with Music Box Foundation has had a positive impact on her, too. “Being able to form relationships with people within the organization has really been amazing. It was super cool to meet them in the past and then to work with them again three years later.”

Over the last three years, @UChicago undergraduate student Ana Gonzalez built up her experience with capacity building by supporting @MusicBoxFound. She first worked with the organization in 2020, and in February of 2023, Ana became a Project Consultant for them.

We are proud to have had Aizhan on our team and that she gets to live out her goals as the new SABIT Program Coordinator for Central Asia!

Aizhan started working with the CPA to gain experience before working in the public sector. She has set goals for herself to work for international nonprofits where she can apply her insights on project design based on a desired impact area.

Aizhan Mukhyshbayeva was a Project Manager at the Accelerator who helped @KrocChicago build its service capacity. She used quantitative analysis and incorporated her survey analysis skills to best identify community needs, which she developed as a @HarrisPolicy graduate.

In 2011, Julian Champion founded @WestPointSOM, a tuition-free music school to give South Side youth the opportunity to discover and grow their talents. With @UChiAccelerator's support, the school has flourished in recent years, now serving 500 students.⬇️ youtube.com/watch?v=m2YIax…

Congrats to the 2023 graduates of the Certificate in Nonprofit Management program, a @UChiAccelerator & @UChicagoCrown joint initiative! This two-year program equips nonprofit leaders working on the South Side to create, grow and operate effective community-based organizations.

Created in response to pandemic challenges and violence, these colorful South Side hearts are part of @luvinstitute’s Parade of Hearts project. Its founder credits @UChiAccelerator with helping the nonprofit grow enough to launch a campaign of this scale: bit.ly/3ApYTkv
