@PhilipTortora Should’ve invited them 10+ years ago and again when they added to the conference, insane the ACC didn’t do that.

@AbbasBokhari17 Yeah it was awful. But even beyond that, they basically were relying on him solely for their guard play with spurts of Jackson/Sonan. Just wasn’t going to work. Darling is a fine 6th man, they were always a playmaking guard short.

Impressive season for St John’s but their guard play was always going to be the downfall…

Stylistically, St John’s gives Uconn fits with their size, athleticism, & level of physicality. You don’t play many teams who build their teams that way, think UConn will be fine. Not sure St John’s can play this style in March & rely on Darling to a deep run.

Maliq Brown is the perfect example of a guy if you’re just a box score watcher, you’d think he’s nothing special. But he’s always involved on both ends of the floor, doesn’t need the ball to impact winning. Type of player you need on your team to win big, love his game.

With the with St John’s plays, there’s a 0% chance the UConn MSU game will tip at 9:45. We’re looking at a 10:15+ tip time for an east coast site. Lock in sickos!

It’s been said a bunch but still insane to me that we have 8 games on the college bball schedule today, we’re sitting at 5:00 PM with only two games played & not a single game on. Then we had 6 in the later half with the last tip at 9:45 PM in Tampa. Seriously, WTF are we doing?

@BadChoiceBurner Sign me up for some variation of that. I like having a later night cap but we should basically be having 2 games going at all times, we don’t need 4 at once while having multiple standalone games…

@ItsMediocreDan Any NBA player including Wemby. It’s basically putting them on the the Stetson team that UConn was beating by 40 in the 1st half & having them win the title. But with all college rules: shot clock, 5 fouls etc. Interesting to think about
