Weekly Trading Update 25-29 May 2026 STATS 🔴 Net P&L: -$1.05K 🔸 2 wins, 2 BE, 14 losses 🔸 Win rate: 12.5% 🔸Profit factor: 0.20 🔸 Executed on 3 of 8 A+ setups-> 37.5% execution rate. 🔸 10 unnecessary losses -> slightly reduced from 13 last week. Performed really poor this week but I didn't get significantly worse as a trader. A big part of this week was trying to balance 2 perspectives. For the first time in a long while, I felt like I had a framework I genuinely understood and knew how to improve. For example, I'm very clear in seeing what makes an A+ setup, the mistakes, and spotting opportunities. This is not visible in my results yet. At the same time, my teacher offered to guide me again and started introducing a simpler approach that has worked well for him. This caused me some confusion. Some trades I would have taken, I didn't. Some trades I shouldn't have taken, I did. Sometimes I was evaluating the market through my own framework and then second-guessing it through another one. Not ideal, but probably part of learning. One thing I noticed is that my reviews continue to get deeper. I understand much more about why price moved, where I forced ideas, where I anticipated, where I didn't trust the setup, and where I simply wanted to participate too much. Biggest learning is probably the need for clarity. Next week I'm committing fully to testing my teacher's approach and treating it as an experiment. I want to stay open-minded enough to learn something I can't currently see. Despite the bloodbath week, I still enjoy the review process. Looking back at trades, spotting mistakes, understanding delivery and context excite me. Maybe that's why I'm still hopeful and optimistic.
