@JonnyBones@arielhelwani I think we need to start a revolution against Dana and the UFC.
I'm pretty sure the White House card could have been a banger if Dana had given the UFC fighters the money they deserve.
Hey everyone, I wanted to address Dana White’s comments from this past weekend, because the truth matters to me and the fans.
Dana, you were heated about why I’m not on the White House card, but let’s clear something up. My team and I were actually negotiating with the UFC for that fight. Real negotiations. I even came down from my original number, and what was I offered in return ? I was lowballed .
Yes, I have arthritis in my hip and it’s painful, but that doesn’t mean I can’t fight.
So let me get this straight, if I had accepted the lowball offer, suddenly my hip would be fine and I’d be on the White House card? That doesn’t make sense.
I even received stem cell treatment last week to get ready for the White House card, and training camp was scheduled to start today. I was preparing to be ready.
I understand business deals fall through sometimes, but going out publicly and saying things that aren’t true isn’t right.
After everything I’ve given to the UFC , the years, the title defenses, the fights , hearing that I’m “done” is disappointing. Especially when as recently as Friday UFC was calling me trying to get me on that White House card for a much lower number.
If the UFC truly feels like I’m done, then I respectfully ask to be released from my contract today.
No more spins, no more games.
Thank you to the real fans who know what’s up.
Bones out.
@arielhelwani To be honest, the card isn't terrible, but people expected more from the White House event. We wanted legendary fights, not just good ones.
People wanted Jon Jones, Conor, Ilia-Islam, Paddy-Tsarukyan, Lopes-Yair, etc.
Benoît Saint Denis was scheduled to fight Chandler at the White House.
Unfortunately, he can’t fight due to an injury, but man, this would have been a real BMF fight.

Can we agree that this UFC 326 was not BMF worthy? The only fights that come to mind as entertaining were the Gregory Rodrigues and Drew Dober finishes.
Don’t know what the matchmakers thought about these fights.

@standardlol@pennilessdick@DovySimuMMA How can you not be the BMF if you can control a professional world-class fighter and future Hall of Famer for 25 minutes straight and he can’t do anything about it?
@pennilessdick@UFCAnalyst@DovySimuMMA Yeah because there's something so BMF and badass about letting a man take you down at will and dominating you for 25 minutes
@UFCAnalyst@DovySimuMMA Because he fought a bitch fight. The BMF isn’t a career achievement belt.
If this was for a normal belt I would be defending Charles wholeheartedly.
@UFCAnalyst@DovySimuMMA not been dominated like that because he’s been fighting strikers all his career
🤣l can imagine what khabib would have done to him
@JDGenkin@DovySimuMMA Would have been a more interesting fight if Max had some grappling skills. Can’t blame Charles for that.
Charles pieced him up on the feet as well: head kick, low kicks, etc.
@pennilessdick@DovySimuMMA Charles Oliveira has the most finishes in UFC history, the most submissions, and the most Fight of the Night bonuses. How can you tell me the belt is not meant to be his?
@lambobbywasabi@arielhelwani We are not talking about star power. You talked about the language. Of course Pereira's star power is bigger, therefore he is the co-main event and not the first bout of the event.
@UFCAnalyst@arielhelwani Pereira is literally the biggest active fighter in the sport. Are you saying Diego Lopes or Yair have achieved the same level of star power?
@lambobbywasabi@arielhelwani I'm talking about fights that could have legendary status after the event. Seems like you don't know what went on between Yair and Diego + Arman and Paddy?
These 4 would have made amazing build-ups and fights.
