Happy World Sea Turtle Day! 🐢 And thanks to everyone who joined us last Saturday. We collected nearly 500 lbs of trash in the area around the Whitney Lab and the beach! Thanks for caring about our nature, thanks for caring about our turtles ❤️

Let's celebrate the World Sea Turtle Day and show our mother earth that we do care! 🐢 🌎 Join us to this Beach Clean-up event on June 14th at the @Whitney_Lab in St. Augustine. Pizza and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided after the cleaning.

In addition, our incredible UF SACNAS advisor Mariela Pajuelo received the award for Advisor of the Year!!! We are more than happy with all of these achievements and with a ton of energy to continue opening spaces for everyone is science and building community!!

We are so thrilled to share with you that last night our organization @ufsacnas received the Career Catalyst Award for our event Three Minute Thesis (3MT) en Español (2024 edition) during the UF Involvement Awards ceremony.🎉🎉
