The drawing Rupert Grint made of Alan Rickman… and he kept it ❤️ Last December, several items that had belonged to #AlanRickman were put up for auction, some of them connected to the world of #HarryPotter. I was fortunate enough to acquire several of them, and today I would like to share one in particular… probably the most touching. It is a drawing made by #RupertGrint during a Potions class while filming the first movie. In an interview, Rupert explained that he used to doodle while scenes were being prepared, and that he made this portrait of Alan Rickman, whom he described at the time as “quite ugly” and, in his own words, “a bit terrifying.” As he was drawing, Alan came up behind him, giving him quite a fright… before he realized that the actor had actually taken it very well. For his part, Alan Rickman later said that he had kept the drawing as a cherished memento. Rupert had signed it with the inscription: “To My Best Teacher Snape.” Today, I am extremely happy to be able to share with you this item, now the most precious in my collection. Geraldine P.S.
