Today, in London, innocent people were attacked in the street – stabbed in broad daylight. Reports indicate two people were injured in Golders Green, an area already in the grips of fear after ambulances were recently targeted in an arson attack. The first duty of any government is the safety of its people, yet what do we see? A government paralysed by the fear of being labelled “racist, rather than doing their job and confronting the problem we face directly. This culture of hesitation, zero deterrence or consequences has led to the breeding ground of violence and chaos. It has simply emboldened extremists, and it is us, the innocent and the taxpayer, who pay the price. We cannot go on like this. People should not live in fear of violence from extremists. How many more terrorist attacks will it take before the establishment acts. Either restore order and protect our citizens or step aside for someone who will.

Keir Starmer is attempting to block a parliamentary investigation into whether he misled MPs over the appointment of Peter Mandelson. As Prime Minister, Starmer must understand he is not above the people. He answers to us. And Starmer is not beyond scrutiny or accountability. But Starmer's level of resistance is telling. If the appointment was done correctly, the investigation would prove this. So why does the Prime Minister fear an investigation? We agree with Starmer’s words from 21st April 2022: “MPs must stand up for truth, integrity and honesty.” From an activist lawyer to a slimy politician Starmer couldn't be any further from these qualities.
