@KyleTuckerCBB Maybe no other new jobs, but there are definitely people on the academic side of UK sitting there making millions not doing much of anything as well. Pretty bad state the University is in as a whole.

I should clarify I assume this is Barnhart's gig the governor is referencing, although if there are multiple new $1 million jobs with "no defined duties" at UK, then that's also a wild revelation.

This is embarrassing! Stop blaming the administration or JMI. It’s all on Pope and the inability to close recruitments, properly read rooms, and put your foot down to get official commitments when you have the opportunity. The unrelatability and “cool/aura” factor with young players matters too. I talked about it on @RoundOfShots last night, this is truly disgusting what is going on with Kentucky basketball. Kentucky is going to be the same exact way as Pope’s first two teams. Role players and losing players grouped together, “deep” on paper but not really, out-talented against the best of the best, and not close to an SEC Championship or Final Four. If I was Tyran Stokes right now, genuinely, outside of the money from UK and Nike, why would I want to spend my one year of college basketball at Kentucky. #BBN #KentuckyBasketball

@BRamseyKSR What you never, ever hear, is what Duke spends. No asks, no seems to be even slightly curious. The $ are never connected to Duke, as if the media thinks there players come there for only the scholarship. Why are they given this treatment?

This would be a massive haul for Duke. Retaining Cayden Boozer. Bringing in Deron Rippey. Landing John Blackwell. That is a heck of a backcourt.
