@UKPowerNetworks just suffered a fleeting power cut in CM23 area, this has been occurring on off for a couple of weeks now . Your website isn’t reporting these, please can you advise , are you aware & if so what is the issue please . Is this something planned or bigger issue !

@UKPowerNetworks Hi, we had a power cut earlier today and although the power came back out lights throughout the house are either dim or flickering. Having checked the website it seems to suggest a second power has occurred but other things have power.

@UKPowerNetworks can someone tell me how deep is my mains cable buried in my back garden as I need to have a spur fitted against my fence which involves the area that you dug up when you ran a new cable last month. Don't want to damage the new cable!

The last four days have been incredibly difficult at the sanctuary and I feel it’s important to share what’s been happening. On Thursday our electricity suddenly went down at the front of the sanctuary. We contacted @UKPowerNetworks and were told it wasn’t their issue because electricity was still coming through the main board. We were advised to call out a private electrician. 17 hours later a UK Power van arrived at our neighbour’s property where they were experiencing the exact same problem. After speaking with the engineers it became clear the issue was related to both us as we have three-phase supply. Eventually we were told that two overhead cables need repairing, so the phases were switched to what they called a “healthy phase” so we could have electric trim until full repair on Tuesday. Unfortunately since that change we still have no power running to our boiler, which means the sanctuary has been without heating and hot water since Thursday. I want to be very clear that the engineers who have attended have been absolutely fantastic professional, kind and doing everything they can. I cannot fault them at all. However, the customer service response has been incredibly disappointing. We have repeatedly been told to call electricians and handle things ourselves, while the engineers on site believe the issue is connected to the phase switch that was carried out. Because of this ongoing situation, I’ve had to stay in a budget hotel near the sanctuary just so I can access heating and hot water while still being close enough to care for the dogs. Running a sanctuary is challenging at the best of times, and situations like this make it even harder. We just want the issue properly acknowledged and resolved so we can get back to focusing on what matters most , caring for the dogs who rely on us every single day. Thank you to everyone who continues to support the sanctuary and check in on us. 🧡
