It’s Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month. More than 30% of men say they struggle with their mental health at work. Here are three things you can do as an employer to make a lasting difference all year round: 1⃣Promote balance: Encourage boundaries, mentorship, and full use of leave. A healthy work-life balance helps prevent burnout. 2⃣Normalise conversations: Leaders who talk openly about stress and wellbeing set the tone. The NHS has issued a ‘flu jab SOS’, with England’s top nurse warning people to get protected now, with only weeks to go before the worst of the flu season kicks in, Three in five of all care home residents have now been protected against flu (59.4%). Eligible adults are being urged to come forward now, so they are fully protected ahead of the usual flu season peak in the winter months.
