In 2014, Russia violated Ukraine’s borders and shattered our peace – and Ukrainians have fought every single day since to restore it. Russia had twelve years to stop. Each time, it chose escalation and terror instead. Why would it do otherwise now – unless it is forced to?

Russia’s full-scale war has changed the lives of Ukrainians forever. It has brought pain that never should have existed. Yet Ukrainians keep living, creating, studying, working, and defending their country.

4 years ago, Russia launched a full-scale war against Ukraine. Above all, Ukraine seeks an end to it – striving for a lasting, sustainable, dignified peace based on solid security guarantees. We thank Ukrainian defenders for protecting our people and our future. Slava Ukraini!

Every morning at exactly 9:00 a.m., Ukraine falls silent for one minute. We pause our days to remember the soldiers who fell defending our common home and the civilians whose lives were taken by Russia. We remember. Each and every one. Always.

Today marks the 4th anniversary of Ukraine’s resistance to full-scale war. It continues for one reason only: Russia has not abandoned its imperial ambitions. Our goal is to stop it. We thank everyone who supports Ukraine and helps bring this war to an end.

In four years of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Ukrainian resistance remains unwavering. Ukraine strives for a lasting, sustainable, dignified peace – and we owe our deepest gratitude to the men and women who fight for the peaceful future of our country and all of Europe.

Today and moving forward, Ukraine’s contribution to global food security goes far beyond food exports alone: it is about innovation, sustainable development, and cooperation for the benefit of communities worldwide.

Ukraine grows food not just for itself, but for millions of people around the world. Russia’s attacks strategically target fields, warehouses, and ports, putting the global food supply at risk.

Ukrainian farmers grow food not only for Ukraine but for the world, and continue to do so even amid the war. Yet Russia obstructs their work with shelling and mines, putting farmers in danger and even taking their lives while they work to feed others.

One of the long-term consequences of Russia’s war against Ukraine is land contamination with mines and unexploded ordnance. More than 136,000 km² of Ukraine’s territory remains potentially unsafe for civilians. Yet, Ukraine is already confronting this challenge.

Thousands of Ukrainians endure unbearable pain and hardships in Russian captivity, their lives forever marked by the violence inflicted upon them. These horrors persist every single day as part of Russia's deliberate and systematic campaign against human rights.

Ukrainian farmers continue to feed hundreds of millions of people worldwide, even amid Russia’s war.

The first words of Ukrainians rescued from Russian captivity – words of love, overwhelming joy, and relief. These calls are long-awaited moments of connection with loved ones as Russia violates international law by prohibiting communication of captives with their close ones.

Wooden Tserkvas of the Carpathian Region are masterpieces of timber architecture, built between the 16th and 19th centuries by Orthodox and Greek Catholic communities. Scattered across the Carpathians in Ukraine and Poland, they showcase regional styles like Hutsul, Boyko, Halych

Torture, secrecy, denial of access – this is how Russia treats captured Ukrainians. What happens in Russia's prisons is not a series of isolated crimes, but a methodical system of violence, rooted in impunity. The international community must act united.
