UK Snow Updates

In the event of Twitter going down, you can - as always - find regular updates on our website during periods of snowfall. A live updates system is being developed to complement existing systems.

Our runway is now open and flights should resume shortly. Safety is our uppermost priority and we would like to thank passengers for their patience whilst we cleared the snow and ice. The earlier runway closure means many flights are now subject to delays and passengers are advised to check with their airline for the latest information regarding particular flights. We are aware of travel problems in the area too - particularly the road network leading from the M56 at junction 12 towards both Mersey crossings at Runcorn. Please allow plenty of time to travel to the airport.

Update 00:12 #A470 Storey Arms to Brecon has now re-opened. #A44 further information shows that the road is closed at Sweet Lamb. Diversion is via A487 Machynlleth, A489 Caersws, A470 to Llangurig before re-joining the A44.

Bristol Airport has reopened tonight but there are still challenging weather conditions. We’re sorry for the inconvenience caused. There may be delays on Sunday morning as some aircraft are out of position. Passengers are advised to check with their airline.
