@Chris1966 Agreed most don’t follow safety protocols. In this instance there was no one onboard all day. (Luckily)

@UKWeatherLive There won't be if they weren't clipped on and have fallen overboard, and if they weren't clipped on doubtful they were wearing lifejackets or location beacons

@UKWeatherLive my first water spout Filey sorry about the camera had hold of 3 dogs . Happened about 15 minutes ago.

And so it begins. Heatwave conditions spreading north in the next few days. Looks like this could be prolonged for some, especially in the South. Would recommend allowing the cool air in this morning and trying to keep it that way for most of today. #heatwave

@UKWeatherLive A few days a year is nowhere near being a problem.

35C on Monday is not going anywhere on the GFS. It even keeps it close on Tuesday. It’s going to feel rather unpleasant, especially in the South East. How long before Air-con becomes the normal in UK households?

Somehow picked the one Mirror headline that isn’t total garbage, yet offended by… wait for it … a colour 🤣 God forbid we use data visualisation in forecast models. @RupertLowe10 what would you suggest instead # FF9999 or # B30000? Welcome your thoughts on colour theory 🎨

@boisdulac_ Agreed. Just an interesting point of discussion. As others have pointed out, ultimately comes down to cost as does everything else.

@UKWeatherLive Not disputing but our politicians are too slow to grasp the issue facing next generation and, frankly, so is the general populace.
