@UK_06__ Yeah, wasm makes it portable, but I’m not using the browser canvas or webgl, it renders to a framebuffer inside wasm memory. In the browser, it’s piped into a canvas via js interop. on native, it writes directly to an X11 window surface. So same core engine, different backends.

@Rishi2220 impressive! i guess wasm handles rendering in browsers or some other portable runtimes?

I'm on arch, but the point is I've made this text rasterization engine which loads and reads ttf files and then rasterizes the text. and this tool is plugged into a zero dependency library which I made which orchestrates things and rendering and inputs using wasm and x11. github.com/RishiAhuja/fern

@bctnry i've kept mine fairly simple; just a way to showcase my skills and provide a platform for people to download my resume from.

I’d never really understood Jupiter Notebooks, so I avoided using them. Finally gave them a go. Jupiter Notebooks are pretty awesome 🙌

@exvillager You can the learn syntax pretty quickly if you have some experience in other languages but mastering anything will take time. Every language has it's quirks which can take years to truly master.

Made this program to visualize sorting algorithms in python , it uses Tkinter and matplotlib for animations. You can undo to a previous state or go to a next state and also change the playback speed!
