France is occupying a Jewish-owned home in Baghdad, Iraq as its embassy. It hasn't paid rent to the family in 50+ years and is instead making payments to the Iraqi government that seized it from the family. Disgusting. @EmmanuelMacron

The Guardian doing its bit to rehabilitate LITERAL ISIS MEMBER today.
Fucking crazy.
“If you met Tareena Shakil today, you would have no idea that the person in front of you had served time in prison for terrorism offences and holds the dubious distinction of being the first British woman convicted of joining Islamic State. Now 36, Shakil is glamorous, heavily made-up with long, tousled hair. When we meet at a plush hotel in Birmingham, she wears a sharply tailored dress, waist cinched in with a wide leather belt, and carries a Louis Vuitton handbag. She is bubbly and warm, with a disarmingly open demeanour. In short, this isn’t what springs to mind when you hear the words “terrorism conviction”.”

Me, as I journalist, I was interrogated and threatened in my own country’s consulate, in the Hungarian consulate
I gone to the Hungarian consulate in Tbilisi for consular assistance, in their invitation, but what I received was an interrogation from an unknown woman who didn’t told me her name and who was not part of the consulate/embassy, who gave me all kinds of personal questions for more than an hour, and I was threatened with jail. The reason: because I’m a journalist. All this in the presence of my lawyer and with the assistance of the consul. It’s already became clear for me there, that this woman lacks basic knowledges about Georgia, so she was there for this occasion. The consul had to explain several things to her about Georgia, there in person, so she can understand my story.
This is an unprecedented story even in Hungary, although that it’s becoming more and more clear how the Orban regime is abusing their power without borders, and they are using even secret services against their political opponents, the supporters and activists of opposition, and even against independent journalists - this is what the scandals of the past weeks in Hungary was all about - together with the Russian-ties of the Orban government.
The Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the consulate didn’t responded to the questions of the German Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, which published about my story and before that, they sent questions to both places regarding my story.
This action of Orban’s regime fits into a chain, but it’s still a question who is behind it from the highest level:
-Minister Antal Rogán, the secret services are under him and some of his business circles can be interested in my intimidation
-Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, and his ministry
-Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who is still the face and leader of this system
It would be quite hard to believe that diplomats would act like this on their own.
Hungarians holding official positions threatened a Hungarian citizen - not Ukrainians, not Russians(?), not anyone else; Hungarians holding official positions - this story is not about me, but about serious abuses of power, and Hungarian people are in the crosshairs of these, we are the ones who are targeted.
How could we trust any Hungarian representatives after such things? And no, it’s not us, who undermine the trust in institutions, who make our experiences public, but this political leadership which undermines the trust in institutions.
If anything happens to me, at least we know whose responsibility it is and who is guaranteed to have a hand in it - these are the politics for the Hungarian people?
And they even involved a Georgian citizen in this whole, my lawyer Giorgi Tabatadze, and that lady even gave the direct question to him, who is paying him and how is the payment between us. I expected them to respect at least Georgian citizens, if they are not respecting Hungarians at all.
