With graduation just around the corner, we celebrated our SHSS graduates with catering from Olive Garden, captured their smiles in a photo booth and honored each one with a special Student Council cord.

Twelve students represented UMKC and showed off their research to lawmakers at Undergraduate Research Day at the Capitol. We’re especially proud of the four School of Humanities and Social Sciences students who took part: Emanuel Fabian, Yasmeen Hanon, Ruweyda Hassan and Theo Ratizer. Their hard work made a strong impression on legislators and stakeholders. Great job to all involved!

The UMKC Gallery of Art is pleased to present "Neither Men nor Gods but Something Closer to the Former," an interdisciplinary & collaborative performance and exhibition by artist Sierra Faust and pianist Benjamin Havey. The History Department Research Symposium was a fantastic opportunity to explore a wide range of historical topics, from pivotal events to cultural movements. With thought-provoking presentations and engaging discussions, it was the perfect way to wrap up a semester full of learning and discovery!
