[2/2] Twenty years ago, surgical equity wasn’t part of student training—proof of how far we’ve come and how much more work there is to do. This is a journey, not an overnight fix. Stay tuned for more SRS events as we keep advocating for a more equitable healthcare system!

[1/2] Thank you to everyone who came out to hear Dr. Augustin speak on surgical equity. He shared powerful insights on the challenges of providing care in underserved communities, from economic barriers to issues of patient access and trust.

Join us at Theater B on 9/26 for an insightful presentation by Dr. Augustin on the importance of surgical equity and how it's being integrated into modern healthcare practices!

Our first wound care clinic today was a success! We were able to treat three patients’ wounds and educate them about appropriate hygiene as well as give them supplies to take home. We are looking forward to continue to grow this clinic and reach more patients in the future!

For our first event of the year, we had the pleasure of having Dr. Sarwar meet with us to discuss the types of wounds and injuries that we will see in preparation for our wound clinic on June 29th!
