Listening to a lot of Neal Casal lately, both his own records and his excellent work with bands (The Cardinals, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Hard Working Americans). One of my favorite contemporary musicians. Feeling sad again he died so young.
Just drove from Florida to Colorado and I'd like to share an important observation:
People are addicted to driving slow in the left lane.
I'm convinced that if we had these mega highways in Massachusetts, everyone would drive 500 mph.

What I'm most excited about❗
@thejessedaniel for sure. @Philbow55 dropped a good one—was the first song for me this morning. @heavydutyheart always gets an early listen on drop days. @_charliebishop, Medium Build, @DannoSimpson are all going to be early plays this morning.
What did I miss❓
I always miss something. Let's build a mega thread of drops. Let me know in the threads. (This is where I find so many of these new artists—your recs) 👇

Don't miss a drop ➕
I do this every Friday. Music is usually independent artists in the folk, indie rock, bluegrass and country genres. Press the foller button to find new music weekly👉 @bradluttrell
Share the love ♻️
If you enjoyed something on the list, share it. That's how people discover new music in 2025.
Note: I may not drop on Friday the 13th
Not because it's bad luck, but because I'll be producing "The Songwriter" for @JammNationApp with @Hillier5Rob at @LaurelCoveFest and am going to have a busy week. I'll try but no promises.
@bradluttrell I saw him last year and I was with two other middle aged dudes in a sea of twenty somethings all singing every word and just going crazy. Gave me some hope for the future.
And goddamn if I didn’t feel young again.
Alright some of you will hate this song but I dig it and I share what I dig.
Petey USA dropped a good one, and I love the art. I hope it's not AI because I want to imagine someone spending 29 hours perfecting this.
Man, what an album.
This delivered everything I hoped for and more. This is definitely going on my favorites list. I imagine it'll climb the ranks with time.

@CurryHicksSage Being apathetic is worse than panicking and that’s where I am finally at. Took probably longer than it should have, but I have finally arrived at the front door of IDon’tGiveAShitAnymore.
I don’t think UMass fans need to panic yet. We’ve been panicked or sad about the state of football affairs at the school for 15 years so I’m willing to give Bamford a few more days to figure it out. Program can’t really get much worse so you might as well give him time.
