It is #campusfiresafety month. Whether you live, learn, work, or play at UNC, we want you to always be aware of fire risks around you. Campus fires (*includes those in housing off-campus, occupied by students) most often occur in the kitchen and overnight. Be extra cautious!

Close. Your. Doors. Close them at home when you sleep. Close them all when you leave the house for the day or go on vacation. Close your office or workspace doors as you evacuate during a fire alarm. Close the stairwell doors in your building. Closed doors keep smoke & fire out.
