UNC Biology attended YESFest! 2025 on 9/20, hosted by the High Plains Library District. Kids learned about the structure of DNA and used microscopes to look at pond water.

The UNC Biology Department is excited to announce our Faculty-Led Study Abroad course, Tropical Biology (BIO 495/595). This course will be taught by Dr. Scott Franklin. Students must enroll in the semester-long lecture to take the optional lab in Belize over spring break.
