The UNCW Board of Visitors and Parents Council stopped by the Watson College for a tour of the Ed Lab on March 28. The visit was one of four stops during their “Day in the Life as a Seahawk.” Thank you to Kate Burke for the photos!

WCE Dean Tracy Linderholm, Denise Ousley, Jessica Harvey, Somer Lewis, Eleni Pappamihiel and Crystal Simmons attended a public forum with NC Superintendent Mo Green on March 31. The Wilmington event was one of 8 stops on his “Mo Wants to Know” listening tour across the state.

Somer Lewis, Jodi Hebert and Bridgett Reese participated in Advocacy Day in Raleigh March 26, where they met with NC House and Senate members to champion the success of the NC New Teacher Support Program.

Thanks to James Applefield and Hathia Hayes! The emeriti faculty stopped by Watson today to donate beautiful new artwork to the Ed Lab.

Congratulations to Chris Blake '09M, Topsail High School Teacher of the Year! Coach Blake is a Partnership Teacher for WCE’s Secondary Education program. He teaches social studies and is Assistant Athletic Director at THS.
