International law expert Ivan Jovanović @UNDPEurasia spoke today about the role of #ICTY & #IRMCT in relation to processing war crimes cases in the former Yugoslavia. The lecture was part of the #MIP’s Inter-University Video Lecture Programme, funded by the #EU.

March 31 , Students of @LegalPracticeRw were inspired by a lecture on “#InternationalCriminalJustice and the #GenocideAgainstTheTutsi: The Role of the #ICTR and the Residual Mechanisms in Upholding Genocidaires Accountable” delivered by Mr. Abubacarr M. Tambadou, the Registrar.

As Rwanda approaches #Kwibuka32, the lecture on the #ICTR reminded the students that justice is not only about #accountability but also humanity. From landmark rulings to personal testimonies, the message is clear: “#NeverAgainer” demands action, unity, and remembrance.

This morning, Minister of State @UstaNcusta alongside Minister @eugirashebuja1 received Mr. Abubacarr M. Tambadou, Registrar of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (IRMCT), on a visit to Rwanda. Their discussion focused on strengthening collaboration between Rwanda and the @unirmct.
