Lets get physical! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Today over 750 Kearney-area fourth graders and their teachers were on campus for the 22nd annual Nebraska Kids Fitness and Nutrition Day. Over 150 UNK students interacted with the children and guided them through the lessons and activities on the importance of staying active and eating healthy. 💪 @NENationalGuard members were on campus Saturday for a Wellness Workshop hosted by students and faculty from @UNKKSS and UNK Psychology. The event included fitness training/testing and educational sessions focusing on nutrition and mental health and resilience. It was designed to prepare participants for the physical and mental demands of basic training and their National Guard service. Thank you for Protecting the Good Life, soldiers.
