Oasis had a busy fall semester hosting events, coordinating connections to the Husker Pantry, and of course engaging with students. We can’t wait to do it all over again next semester!

Complete the week by stopping by for grab n’ go breakfast on Dec. 13 from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Random Acts of Kindness will have cards of kindness and kindness rocks for emotional support for finals week. Join us for one more event to de-stress!

Take it easy and stretch it out at rhythm and flow yoga on Dec. 12 from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. in the unity room! There will be an R&B music playlist to relax and do yoga. There will also be Celsius and snacks provided.

Need some groceries? Come play grocery bingo at De-Stress Fest on Dec. 11 at 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. for a chance to win groceries for free! We’ll be giving away laundry detergent, cereal, and more! We will also have snacks and drinks provided.

Join us for a relaxing and creative experience as we explore the art of Palestinian embroidery, Tatreez. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll delve into the rich history and cultural significance of this beautiful craft, learning about its intricate patterns and stitches.

Join us a paint and sip night in the Oasis Lounge on Dec. 9 from 6 p.m.-8:00 p.m. There will be snacks and an alcohol safety demonstration. Art supplies will be provided.

Cuts and Convos is a barbershop talk series that provides a safe space for men of color to discuss topics, issues, and concerns within their community. Haircuts will be provided for FREE by local barbers. October 14th from 12-4 PM at the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center.

Live entertainment from Sangre Azteca, a local Mexican folkloric dance group, and vocal sounds from one of our very own Huskers, who is an active member of the Mexican American Student Association. There will also be a raffle with great prizes you don’t want to miss out on!

Join the Office of Academic Success & Intercultural Services for our annual Fiesta on the Green as we recognize the history, cultures, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans through art, music, dance and food!

To begin celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month stop by at the OASIS Lounge on Monday 16th from 9:00 - 11:00 AM where we will be having pan dulce by the Hispanic Bakery Panaderia Pan Dulce. Be sure to stop by and grab some breakfast!
