I cannot imagine a scenario under which a player who clearly appears unconscious after a head impact is allowed to return - in any sport, in any country.
This is unrelated to the tweet below, lest another UK soccer team threaten me for second-guessing their medical decisions...

Watch Pavard not extend his arms & protect his fall, a CLEAR sign of loss of consciousness. Yet he was LEFT IN. Later he said: "I was 'a little' knocked out for 10 to 15 seconds."
By setting regular examples like these, watching soccer is DANGEROUS for children. How sad is that?

Rough scene in #ParisNice2021 as cyclist George Bennett crashed, cracked his helmet, showed clear signs of a #concussion, but got back on the bike before an official evaluation.
This is how tragedies can happen. Cycling needs a culture change and stronger protocols ASAP.

What a mess. Keep the heat on 'em @TaylorTwellman - short-term #concussion subs so docs can perform a thorough concussion evaluation can't be too far away.
Nor can lawsuits from players like this left on the pitch 'til halftime after showing so many signs of concussion.

Shaking your head violently after a head impact is just about always a sign of #concussion, usually a result of double/impaired vision or ringing in the ears.
I've NEVER seen a player shake his head this much.
No way L'Jarius Snead should return after this display.

Notice that Shonannoumi showed rubber legs and balance issues like Mahomes But I didn't see anyone hit that nerve in his neck... strange.

Day10 Unvelievable! Makushita. When Shonannoumi (R) butts heads and collapsed gyoji calls matta but the guy is OUT OF IT, can’t even stand! They have an abrupt mono’ii to decide what to do. Shonan says he’s okay and the do bout ANYWAY. Unthinkable in other sports.
