Concrete masonry is an ideal noise control material for both properties: it can act as a barrier by diffusing incident noise over a wide range of frequencies; and it can be an effective sound absorption material for absorbing noise generated within a room. #showmethemasonry
Wooden structures are not as safe as concrete (CMU) buildings. Wood is vulnerable to external threats like fire, wind, insects, moisture, and mold—all of which can result in structural damage and safety risks. While concrete is a durable, strong material.
