The Microbiome Treatment Centre (MTC) is the first MHRA licensed facility within the UK to provide Faecal Microbiota Transplants (FMT) for clinical trials and for the treatment of patients throughout the UK with recurrent and refractory Clostridium difficile infection.

It’s been a very long time since I’ve thanked our amazing blood bike volunteers but today I got 3 riders to cover the length and breadth (almost) of the U.K. @BloodBikesSSCBB #FMT @UoBMBChB

Many thanks to our amazing bloodbike riders, this bright sunny morning we had Kev & John @Staffsbloodbike. It’s been a while since I’ve posted but we sincerely appreciate the efforts of all the bloodbike riders and the different blood bike groups involved in the relays.

It’s been a busy week at the MTC this week (10 requests, 8 of which have been delivered by the blood bikes this week) We have the lovely Howard @Staffsbloodbike en route to York. Chris @MidFreewheelers relaying to get FMT to Wales, then back to Oxford, for the Bournemouth relay!
