Since establishing themselves in the Premier League, Brentford have built a culture of using data to inform decisions across the club - not just on the pitch, but in how they recruit and plan. Ben Ryan, the club's Performance Director, talking on the @performanceppl podcast, highlights that one of their biggest strengths is their alignment across different departments and the discipline to stick with the long term strategy. Whether it’s adopting new methods, new tech or appointing a new head coach, changes are made without destabilising the wider system. You won’t get every decision right and you won’t win every game, but committing to consistent approach that people believe in allows good, well informed decisions to compound over time.
