My basement is a face shield factory! Materials supplied by @SSC_CA (🙌 to Sean Lavallee of AAACT) 3D Printers lent by @KidsFitLeague as Camps & after-school prgms are on hold. Finished parts will be dropped off at @UOMakerspace for assembly & distribution #WereInThisTogether

@uOCEED @UOMakerspace @uOttawa made and distributed 5015 reusable face shields to over 35 institutions in Ottawa and its surrounding. If u know any facilities with a current #COVID19 #Ottawa outbreak. We will gladly provide them some.

We have sent out 1368 face shields so far to 15 different organizations. Today alone we will be sending 532 more. I am grateful 4 our dedicated #CEED staff and #ottawa community 4 making this happen.

Over the past week, the team at @UOMakerspace made over 1100 face shields that were given to several hospitals and clinics across #Ottawa A huge THANK YOU to our community volunteers, drivers, supporters and helpers!! And thank you to all frontline workers 🙏 #Covid_19

We're not fighting #Covid_19 on the front lines but we try to help those who are🙏@CHEO @hopitalmontfort @bruyerecare @OttawaHospital. While managing social distancing & long hours, our small team delivered over 800 3D printed face shields last week. More are on the way! @uOttawa
