Last Thursday we had an amazing newcomers meeting! Thank you to everyone who came and we can’t wait to build a better world with you all!

We also want to thank the Associated Students of the University of Oregon, our student government, for their support in organizing the Medication Abortion Action Fair and public-facing communications.

The efforts and organization of Students For Choice over the past decades have provided a crucial foundation for this win, and their contributions with research, discussion, and petition-gathering this year were substantial.

WE WON! Starting this coming fall, the University of Oregon will be offering Medication Abortion care through the on-campus University Health Services!

The winter conference has given us the organizing skills it took to pull off the historic @uostudentwrkers strike and the UO Gaza Solidarity Encampment, which lasted over 20 days

UOYDSA has officially passed 1,000 signatures for our Medicated Abortion petition!! Canvassing was launched 2 weeks ago and we’ve been averaging about 500 signatures per week! If you’re interested in canvassing, come to our meeting tonight at 6 in Knight Library 101!
