• Joint or muscle bleeds (most common issue): Sudden pain, swelling, warmth, tightness, or stiffness in knees, elbows, ankles. Toddlers may cry, limp, or refuse to use the limb.
• Other red flags: Blood in urine or stool; frequent nosebleeds with no clear cause

• Easy bruising: Large, deep bruises from minor bumps that don’t fade quickly.
