Elliott Builds Stake in Invisalign-Maker Align Technology Elliott Investment Management has built a significant stake in Align Technology Inc., the maker of Invisalign teeth-straightening products, according to people familiar with the matter. The activist fund is planning to engage with Align to encourage it to explore ways to lift the company’s stock price, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the information is private.
