Many of our members attended our AGM/EGM and after hearing a selection of great speeches and voting, we are pleased to announce your 2021/2022 Committee… Congratulations to you all!

You all performed exceptionally and in the words of our Mooting Officers “it has been a pleasure to see the competitors grow in confidence”. Well done to our Mooting Officers. Despite the challenges of this year, you have remained determined to deliver a fantastic competition.

On the 17th of March our Mooting Officers, Holly Parker and Aoife Marriott, hosted the final of the Mooting Competition. A massive congratulations to the winner and runners-up of the UPLS Mooting Competition 2020/2021…

Nominees for our Annual Awards have now been compiled and you can vote for your winners! The link to do so has been sent to you via email this afternoon, alongside details to join the event. Your vote is anonymous, you can only vote once and it takes just 2 minutes to complete.

We are asking for those who wish to apply to write 100 words on why you believe you are suitable for the role. This will need to be emailed to uplsagm@gmail.com by the 19th of April at 12:00pm. At the EGM, attendees will then vote for who they wish to fill the remaining roles!

On the 21st of April at 6:30pm, we will be holding a brief EGM. We are holding this because there are still 3 roles to fill in the 2021/2022 Committee - these roles are: 1 Secretary and Careers Officer, 1 Debating Officer and 1 Events and Activities Officer.

The decision for our Negotiations Officers, Kyle Klesniks and Maria Emberson from @WBD_UK was tough, you all performed excellently! Lastly, well done to our Negotiations Officers. You have worked so hard and remained positive to make sure that the competition runs really well.

On the 16th of March our Negotiations Officers, Laura Keith and Lauren Dixon, hosted the final of the Negotiations Competition. A big congratulations to the winners and runners-up of the UPLS Negotiations Competition 2020/2021…
