He carelessly and needlessly put himself in a situation where deadly force was his only option. Being in front of a running vehicle with a person behind the wheel and a phone in his hand while other agents are trying to enter the vehicle is dumbass behavior. From his own cell phone footage it also looks like he had a calendar year to get out of the fucking way when she was clearly moving that vehicle. Watch it and tell me you would stand where he was standing when she cuts the wheel, backs up, cuts the wheel again shifts into drive, and pulls forward. I’m not a LEO but I don’t have to be to know when I’m around folks while we’re all operating firearms that there are safe places to stand and places where i would immediately feel unsafe. Watching his cell phone footage I immediately felt uncomfortable when he casually walks in front of that car in that situation. She definitely fucked up, but she clearly wasnt trying to hit him, and his dumbass decision making created the circumstances where he felt he needed to shoot. I hate seeing LEOs needlessly escalate. They should be calm and focused and in control, not constantly running at people aggressively and screaming. There was no urgency in this situation. They created that urgency needlessly. Also the second two shots are pretty indefensible IMO.
