Just saw The Boys finale in 4DX. I don’t care what anyone says, this was a near perfect finale and a great season. It did have its missteps but this fan base is just atrocious.

@URBNBrosPR dude, literally anything would be "near perfect" in 4dx. remove all the key jingling and you have an objectively disappointing finale

@UnbornArmy Some of that I can agree with but I do think this season is good like 7-9 range. It’s definitely better than season 4 and Gen V season 2 but that’s it.

@URBNBrosPR And you for sure had recency bias because there are glaring issues with the season and finale as a whole. Genuine poor writing, forcing the prequel down our throats instead of focusing on THE BOYS, V1 plot being pointless, Gen V season 2 being pointless, poorly timed “humor”

@ajonereal @Axlrockk *SPOILERS* I liked that it semi wrapped up the Gen V characters now that season 3 was cancelled, the deeps death, everything in the White House, Ryan and Butchers talk, Hughie and Butcher in the tower, and the ending.

@URBNBrosPR Bad take. It wasn’t near perfect but it wasn’t as bad as people are saying. And I’m not saying everyone complaining is correct or valid but there is a high fraction of negative feedback that is valid. This season was written terribly but the finale wasn’t on the same tier as GOT.

I’m definitely in favor of movies but I would still love another season. Honestly just more Mando, Grogu, And the others.

Jon Favreau tells us scripts for ‘THE MANDALORIAN’ Season 4 were already written before they decided to shift to a movie. “It was a fresh start. Season 4 would have assumed that you saw all three seasons... but I want to bring the next generation [of fans] in for the movies.”
