Made B-Class in Carry Optics from Concealment Yesterday was my first match of 2026 and my first since Nov. ’25. I had a couple health issues that limited my shooting in Dec. and Jan., so it felt good to finally start getting things back up to speed. This was a Classifier Only match. I tried not to think too much about possibly bumping from C to B-Class, basically as long as I didn’t completely shit the bed. I only had five classifiers on my record since, and the first one was a 33.83% (where I absolutely did shit the bed), which will be dropping off. I left the match unsure where I landed classification-wise, but I knew I needed to clean up the Deltas (4) and Mikes (2). Overall though, it was great getting back out there. After the match I couldn’t wait for USPSA to update Tuesday night, so of course I dumped the scores into a spreadsheet. It looks like I’ll land at 68.44%, which should bump me into B-Class in Carry Optics shooting from concealment. I switched to drawing from concealment in late September, so 7 of my last 8 classifiers were shot from concealment. I’d like to thank everyone who has helped me over the last 10 months since deciding to “get better at shooting” and falling down the competition rabbit hole.
