It has become clear that despite running a strong campaign, connecting with voters, and mobilizing an incredible volunteer effort - that effort is going to come up a little short. I am grateful to an outstanding campaign team and the most dedicated supporters any candidate could ask for. I’m appreciative of the voters that supported me and even those that did not, and most of all I am grateful for my wife, Wendy and my son, Jackson. I was looking forward to working with Democrats, Republicans and @realDonaldTrump to solve serious problems like an open border, increasing crime, and runaway federal spending but the voters have spoken and this is not what is intended for me. Despite the outcome of this race, I remain hopeful and optimistic about America because the American people are entrepreneurial, industrious, creative and are rooted in the values that made this country the greatest country in the history of the world. We just need to get government out of the way to unleash the enormous power of productivity in the minds and hands of every person who calls America their home. Let us continue to pray for our elected officials that they may have with wisdom and courage to make the right decisions for America’s bright future. I have enjoyed this journey immensely and am humbled by the kindness, generosity, and willing spirit of the people in the 47th Congressional District. Thank you!

I am a conservative who voted for Bob Casey. I dont like where Maga has taken conservatism so I voted against McCormick who btw headed to his home in Connecticut when he found out Casey wasn’t going to concede. Every vote should be counted. In the USA that is our right.

Eric Hovde was up big in Wisconsin on election night. But just like in 2020, in the middle of the night, Milwaukee County posted a huge number of absentee ballots (~108K) all at once, that overwhelmingly went for Democrat Tammy Baldwin (~90%), and erased Hovde's lead completely.
It's hardly surprising that Hovde himself thinks this looks suspicious. If the Hovde campaign is serious about contesting Wisconsin's race, then it should be easy for them to cross-reference the voter files for Milwaukee's absentee votes, and check with those people directly. If there are anomalies they should reveal themselves quickly.
But even if the results are completely fair, our system should minimize late ballot dumps precisely to keep our system from resembling some Third World sham. Nobody feels better about a system where a race can be flipped by 100,000 ballots popping up at the last minute.
