After a little bit of battery trouble, the Palmetto LEADER is en route to Hartsville! Free wills clinic and review from 1-4pm today at 108 Cargill Way!

SC Pro Bono in conjunction with the @SCBAR are hosting a free legal clinic in Hartsville from 1PM-4PM. The clinic is offering free simple wills, powers of attorney, and help with expungements.

Today, students went to @RobinsonGraySC & were paired with attorneys to answer questions from the ABA Free Legal Answers website. We answered 35 questions! That is 35 SC residents who had a legal question answered! Thank to all involved for helping to close the justice gap in SC!

Today, our attorneys joined @UofSCLaw students to answer questions on the ABA SC Free Legal Answers site. Thanks to RG Pro Bono Committee leader Chris Boguski for leading this initiative, which impacted over 30 SC residents. We're grateful for the chance to mentor & give back!

The @rainydayfund_sc ran a fantastic driver's license reinstatement clinic in Columbia on Friday and Saturday. Over a dozen people were driven to the DMV to get their licenses reinstated! Thanks to Alyssa Markheim, Pro Bono Board President, for helping out!

Pam is staying busy in retirement with her bees and sharing her love for beekeeping with elementary school children. Thank you for all that you have done for the Pro Bono Program Pam!

Her passion for pro bono has been contagious. Pam single-handedly ran several different pro bono programs and was always eager to get another started. Yet, she always had time to sit down with a student and find a pro bono program that matched their interests and passions.

After over 30 years of dedicated service to the USC Law Pro Bono program, we announce the retirement of Miss Pamela Robinson. Pam has been an integral part of the USC Law community and instilled the value and importance of pro bono work in countless students.

On April 6, 2023, the CCSJ at WNE Law held a CORI expungement event that processed over 50 applications. The CSJ is committed to creating a more equitable community and helping those with past records move beyond any missteps. Thank you to the CSJ for their amazing work!
