With the confirmation of a USFL-XFL merger imminent, I figured now's the time I'd abandon the use of this Twitter account for @XFLCenter, where I'll continue to post my usual spring football content. Thank you to all who have supported this account since I began last year.

@torybutlerrang1 @XFLCenter I've been meaning to "combine" my two seperate spring football league accounts into one for a while now. Whether, both leagues merge or continue to exist I'll cover everything on @XFLCenter.

The XFL and USFL are in advanced talks to merge, per @axios. An announcement could come as soon as this week.

#Stallions re-signed RB Bo Scarbrough for the 2024 season, the team announced. While Scarbrough missed most of last season due to injury, he was a force to be reckoned with in 2022 for BHAM.

#Showboats signed former WKU Hilltoppers and Oregon Ducks WR Daewood Davis. He signed with the Miami #Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in May, but was released with an injury settlement last month after sustaining a scary injury during the team's preseason finale.

#Gamblers signed former Montana Grizzlies CB Justin Ford, who was selected during the second round in the 2023 #USFL Collegiate Draft.

#Gamblers signed CB Elijah Rodgers, per the team. Rodgers spent time at Indiana and Gardner-Webb before walking on at Clemson in 2021, where he played six games over two years.

#Panthers re-signed K Cole Murphy, the team announced. Murphy went 14-18 kicking FGs during the 2023 season with a 76.5% PAT.

#Stars re-signed OL Jacob Burton, the team announced. Burton, who was drafted by PHI during the seventh round of the 2022 #USFL Draft, started nine games for the team during the 2023 season.

Offseason Rosters are expanded to 58 players per team.

#Stallions signed former Vanderbilt TE Chris Pierce. With the Commodores, Pierce recorded 109 receptions for 1,396 yards and nine TDs over his five-season career. Pierce spent time with the Arizona #Cardinals last season as an UDFA before he was waived this July.

Former Michigan State OT Jarrett Horst is staying local to play professional football. The 2023 #USFL Draft No. 1 pick has signed with the #Panthers.
