I'm trying to see something... Do you follow an MLS club? Why or why not? 🤷♂️ If not, do you follow any local club?

🚨 Pep Guardiola has emerged as a candidate to become the next Italy manager. Italy's decision-makers view Guardiola as the coach capable of leading a complete reset for the national team. "We could get a 64-team World Cup" 🗣️ Kaveh Solhekol discusses the potential changes to the next World Cup in 2030 🏆

Someone please think of the researchers! But seriously, 64 teams (which will happen eventually) is a better format than 48 teams from a competition standpoint w/o 3rd-place teams advancing. The calendar and infrastructure logistics seem like a nightmare with 128 games.

Gianni Infantino has said FIFA will examine expanding the World Cup by a further 16 nations to a 64-team tournament ahead of its next edition in 2030. The 2030 tournament will be spread across six nations and three continents: Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay are scheduled to host one match apiece at the start of the competition, with the remaining games split between Morocco, Portugal and Spain. “It’s really people trying to get attention because they know how big of a superstar he is, that they know if they mention his name, they'll get clicks.” Former USMNT coach Gregg Berhalter blasts those criticizing Christian Pulisic, including Landon Donovan. Berhalter and Donovan played together both at the USMNT and LA Galaxy, but Berhalter believes Donovan’s comments on Pulisic are unwarranted. “I think it's unwarranted. I don't like to hear it,” Berhalter said when asked about Donovan’s comments. “You know, the one thing I know about Christian, and I've worked with a lot of top players, is I haven't seen a top player be such a humble and team guy like Christian Pulisic. “He does not have the superstar ego. He's a total team player. I don't know how much you guys know about it, but before every World Cup, he got the entire team gifts of appreciation for their hard work before the World Cup. “And he's injured. He's legitimately injured. And I mean, that's something that, you know, it's so easy for us to sit here and talk negatively about a player without understanding what they're actually going through. “If you ask him, was it his best World Cup, he would say, of course not. He would want to perform better. “But to question his lack of effort or lack of caring or lack of determination or even his character, I think is unwarranted because he's a great guy, he's a humble guy, and he cares so much about the team. “I think in a way, guys, it's really people trying to get attention because they know how big of a superstar he is, that they know if they mention his name, they'll get clicks.” [via Wake Up Barstool]
