@EinSchwarzwelt The defense is the main concern. Shakey at best. Vulnerable. Will need to limit chances and we will likely need a few big saves from the keeper to make a deep run. But the passing, movement and talent in the midfield and up top are enough to compete

WC concerns so far -How sustainable is the press with our energy levels inevitably dropping later in the tournament (1 week break is a godsend) -Adams availability, no reliable midfield depth -Ream still a bit shaky, would not start him every game

@MLSMoves I was thinking the same thing, even without much success. You can see a bond forming with the players. That hasn't always been the case with our team.

@theblockspot Yes, but speaking about the world cup specifically, in terms of USMNT history, a lot of these guys will be walking the line by 2030. The future is bright though.

@EinSchwarzwelt I love flo, but Clint was different and can never be replaced in our history or hearts. He is USA soccer.

Give him the next decade of Gold Cups, Nations Leagues, Copa Americas and he'll easily become the top USMNT goalscorer just behind Pulisic by the time his career ends. We have not had an elite talent of this caliber since Dempsey (and he wasn't a 9) and I rate Flo higher

This stuff is insufferable. Just enjoy the team. McKennie was awesome and grew up here. Pulisic was a terrific- I saw him doing rabonas in Pennsylvania as a youth player. We’re Americans. The whole point is we have a variety of ways to accomplish things.
