The museum is currently closed for public visitation

The Museum is open and operating on normal hours and under current USNA visitation guidelines!

Due to a lapse in federal funding, the Museum is closed until further notice

The Museum remains closed today, Monday, 26 Jan 2026

Due to the impending storm, the Museum will be closed on Sunday, 25 Jan 2026. Further closures will be posted here.

The Museum will open at noon (12:00) on Saturday December 20th, 2025. The Museum will be closed on December 24th, 25th, 26th and 31st 2025.

The Museum will resume its normal operating schedule as of Friday, 14 November 2025!

Appropriations for the Government expired on 09/30/25. Military personnel continue in a normal duty status, until a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be furloughed.

The Museum will open at noon (1200) on Saturday 22 March 2025.

The Museum has experienced a temporary loss of water and must close until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Update! The door dams blocking Decatur Road are expected to be removed and the door should be available on Saturday morning 08/10/2024

From Thursday August 8th until Monday August 12th, the Decatur Road entrance to the Museum is inaccessible due to door dams. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
