Trump’s stock market obsession is a scam for the bottom 90%. The richest 10% own 87-93% of all U.S. household stocks and mutual funds. The top 1% alone own ~50%. The bottom 50% own ~1%. Federal Reserve data. Not opinion. Every time Trump (or anyone) brags about record highs on the Dow or S&P, he’s cheering a massive wealth transfer to the already-rich. The bottom 90%? They get crumbs — if that. Most live on wages, not portfolios. Their 401(k)s are tiny or nonexistent. Housing, groceries, and rent crush them while billionaires’ portfolios explode. “Rising tide lifts all boats”? Bullshit. This tide lifts yachts and leaves the rest drowning. Focusing on the stock market as the ultimate success metric is elite propaganda. It ignores real pain: stagnant wages for most, exploding costs, and zero ownership in the “booming” economy. Real economic health isn’t Wall Street’s numbers. It’s whether the median American can afford a decent life. Until stock ownership isn’t grotesquely rigged toward the top, celebrating the market is just telling the bottom 90%: “Screw you, I’ve got mine.”

Nasdaq stocks above 200 day remains on trend. Expecting a big breakout to begin soon to get us up to the top of the wedge that has provided resistance since January 2024. What happens around May 12 is anyone's guess, but Kevin Warsh takes over May 15 and he has been vocal about being more hawkish than Powell. Also Fri May 15 is OpEx and Tues May 19 is VIXpiration. That's when the market becomes unpinned and is free to move.
